Athletics

The athletic tradition is long at KU, and inevitably a part of the University’s history. Our collection documents the legendary coaches and athletes, as well as lesser known individuals. Photographs of teams, games, players and fans are here by the thousands. Film and videotape go back as far as the 1929 KU – K-State football game. Media guides, programs, news releases, and clippings round out a large collection of material.
