Clarence C. Love
Elected in 1966, Mr. Love served eleven terms in the Kansas House as a representative of Wyandotte County. So far, he has the longest tenure of any African American Kansas legislator. A businessman and a member of the Democratic Party, Mr. Love resigned from the legislature in 1987.
